2010 Sales Policies

Minimum Order
New customer minimum order amount is $150 per shipping date. The reorder minimum is $100. A customer may order less than the minimum, but a service charge of $10.00 will be added.

Minimum Order Quantities
All items ordered must be in the quantities (or multiples of the minimum order quantity) stated on the price list. For example, the minimum order quantity for a D11 mug is 4 per color. That means if your customer wants 6 mugs, he/she must order 8 (which is a multiple of the minimum order quantity of 4). Some items have an “M” designation on the minimum order quantity which means colors can be mixed in order to make the minimum. For example, the minimum order quantity for a D30 coffee pot is 2/M which means you must order 2 coffee pots, but you can order 2 of the same color or different colors.

Back-orders
Back-orders under $25 will be automatically cancelled. Back-orders over $25 will be shipped when available, unless otherwise directed by customers. Freight is added to back-orders when shipped.

Terms
Crow Canyon Home accepts the following credit cards: Discovery, American Express, Visa and MasterCard. Billing options such as Net 30 are available, pending a credit approval process. All new accounts must use a credit card for payment until credit is established. To establish credit, customers must A customer’s second order must be paid for with 50% on credit card and 50% by check with net 30 terms. Crow Canyon Home will accept C.O.D. orders subject to a $20 C.O.D. service fee. C.O.D. orders must be sent via Federal Express.

Shipping
Most orders go out within 7 business days of receipt. Orders can be rushed for an additional fee of $10. All shipments are sent via Federal Express Ground, unless otherwise requested. For palletized shipments, we used Federal Express Freight or we’ll use the trucking company specified by our customers. A physical address is necessary for delivery. Customers must specify if shipments are going to a residential address because Federal Express uses a different freight rate and delivery system.

Shipping Charges
Freight is FOB San Leandro, CA. Your customer’s shipping cost will be the rate charged by Federal Express, UPS or the trucking company. The charges are added to invoices, unless the order is specified as third-party billing or a collect shipment. There are no freight-paid (free freight) orders, unless we’re replacing items damaged in shipment.

Late Payments
Crow Canyon Home charges 1.5% per month on accounts that are more than 30 days past due, with a minimum charge of $25.

Claims
Claims and returns must be reported to Crow Canyon Home Customer Service within 10 days of delivery. Really! Otherwise, we can’t tell if cartons have sat in a storage area or warehouse and gotten damaged by being moved around after arrival. Please remember that all Crow Canyon Home enamelware is hand-dipped and is thus subject to variation in pattern and color. This does not mean the product is defective – it is part of the appeal.

Returns
There is a 20% restocking fee for returned merchandise or refused shipments. We regret that freight charges are not refundable. All returned items must be in saleable condition for a full refund or credit to be issued.

Damages
We pack every item as carefully as possible, but occasionally an item may arrive damaged. If that happens, please have your customers retain all original packing material for inspection by the shipping vendor. Please open packages immediately and report any damage within 10 days of receipt. Crow Canyon Home will apply a credit for the damaged items to the customer account and deduct the amount of the credit from the next order.

Returned Checks
A $35 fee will be charged to a customer account for each NSF (insufficient funds) or Stop Payment Check. That account will then be changed to CREDIT CARD ONLY. We do not accept post-dated checks.

Hours of Operation
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM (PST). In off hours, you may leave messages and orders on our voicemail system. Orders may be sent by fax or emailed to info@crowcanyonhome.com 24 hours a day, Monday through Sunday. The warehouse is open for shipping orders Monday through Thursday, 8AM to 6PM (PST).
